Roofing Apprentice

NV Roofing is seeking a motivated and hardworking Roofing Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are interested in learning the roofing trade and building a long-term career in the construction industry. Under the guidance of experienced roofing professionals, the Roofing Apprentice will assist with residential and commercial roofing projects while developing the skills, knowledge, and safety practices necessary to become a skilled roofing technician.

The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist roofing crews with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.
• Load, unload, and transport roofing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare job sites and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Learn proper roofing techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Support crew members with measurements, material handling, tear-offs, and cleanup.
• Participate in on-the-job training and skills development opportunities.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic while contributing to team success.

Experience Requirements

• No prior roofing experience required, but a strong interest in construction and roofing is a must.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and ability to work comfortably at heights.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work apps from the field.
• Must have a good command of the English Language
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
