Lead Roofer

NV Roofing is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Roofer to oversee and perform residential and commercial roofing projects. The Lead Roofer is responsible for leading field crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the on-site leader, coordinating daily activities, maintaining productivity, and ensuring customer satisfaction while upholding company safety policies and workmanship standards.

The ideal candidate is a skilled roofing professional with strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of roofing systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee roof installations, repairs, maintenance, and replacements.
• Review project specifications and ensure work is completed according to manufacturer requirements, building codes, and company standards.
• Conduct daily job site planning, crew assignments, and workflow coordination.
• Monitor quality control throughout all phases of the project.
• Ensure all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and company procedures are followed.
• Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and less experienced crew members.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage materials, equipment, and job site resources to maximize productivity.
• Identify and resolve job site challenges while maintaining project schedules.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and inspections as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of roofing experience required.
• Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding work.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of all types of roofs (flat, shingle, metal, coatings, and waterproofing.

Qualifications

• Must be a strong leader.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Physical fitness and ability to work comfortably at heights.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work apps from the field.
• Must have a good command of the English Language.
• Must be able to list material and write reports based on work.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
